The programme is specifically created in its content and flexible delivery to give you the confidence to anticipate problems and find solutions, to work independently and with other people, to plan things out before you start and complete the things you’ve started, in short, to develop the skills that employers want!

This course is available to apply as a weekday or weekend study option.

Course Overview

Studying our Birmingham-based Business Skills for the Workplace CertHE will give you the opportunity to gain a practical and analytical understanding of business and management while developing a range of transferable skills. This degree is designed to provide a broad-based knowledge of business organisations, their management and the environments in which they operate.

Programme modules will introduce you to key business disciplines such as finance, human resource management, marketing and professional development. Skills such as project management, entrepreneurship, creativity, coaching, mentoring, critical thinking and communication are integrated across the modules.

The programme has a strong employability theme that is seen in the approach to delivery through the use of live projects and consultancy.
